A knitting friend has just been to France and she brought me back these antique buttons! I will have to knit myself a cardi to put them on....

these are the first of "the sweet life" cupcakes, I will update weekly with improvements in the decorations! I will keep practising..... I am not sure which I love the most, the baking, photography and still to come... the eating!

I missed last thursday completely, so decided to dedicate thursdays to things I love, as part of an awareness of what makes me happy - a kind of 'happiness project'.  So here is the first of what I love, baking and crunchies!

Unfortunately you cannot see what is written on the apron as the picture is so small, but it says "I don't do housework on days ending in Y" most of the wacky shots seem to come from Kalk Bay, I quite liked this man in his apron!
