A knitting friend has just been to France and she brought me back these antique buttons! I will have to knit myself a cardi to put them on....

these are the first of "the sweet life" cupcakes, I will update weekly with improvements in the decorations! I will keep practising..... I am not sure which I love the most, the baking, photography and still to come... the eating!

Every Saturday morning there is a food market at the biscuit mill in Salt River, Cape Town.  It is a feast for the eyes as well as the belly!
