I suppose bananas are more local there. I love bananas, I make banana cake with the really overripe ones left in the bottom of the bowl.
there is definitely an abundance of bananas here, they are too ripe too quickly though, so banana cake is a great idea.
I always think bananas are such a well designed energy food, prepackaged in the firm yellow skins and delivered in convenient family sized bunches.
that's probably why ours go brown, not enough people to eat them!
